The biggest step I made this year, maybe ever, was becoming a home owner. And when the boyfriend and I moved in our house seven months ago, it didn’t take long before we were wondering whatever possessed us to buy it in the first place. Granted, we knew there was a lot of work in it but we kept saying that the ‘click’ we felt the first time had to mean something. In the end, I think it was the potential we saw that convinced us. Especially when it came to the kitchen. The floor was a mess, the red walls made us dizzy just staring at them and the kitchen sink… Oh my bunny slippers! If I’ve ever seen a DIY kitchen gone bad, this one was the worst. I could only call it God’s grace that my ‘in-laws’ helped us every step of the way in turning this broke down shack into our home. I can tell, I’m getting emo just writing this (at my extremely large dining table). So I’ll just stop my sniffling so you can hurry over to the pictures. Project La Cucina over and out!
